"Go for Gold" Campaign

Ambassador Bill Hagerty launched the Go for Gold campaign with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike in June 2018.

Go for Gold is an ambitious two-year campaign to reach out to students and encourage sports participation in the lead-up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. Go for Gold was established by the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the U.S. Olympic Committee and many other supporting organizations.
