Ambassador Baker Schedules his Departure

Ambassador Howard H. Baker, Jr. announced today that he would end his tenure as Ambassador and depart Japan on Feb. 17, 2005.
Today, the Embassy informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Ambassador's plan.
