Visit of U.S. Delegation on Beef

As announced by Ambassador Schieffer in today's press conference, a delegation comprised of U.S. government and academic experts will visit Japan April 25-27 to participate in a variety of events to explain the safety and quality of U.S. beef.
The delegation, headed by Dr. Chuck Lambert of the Department of Agriculture will participate in a variety of outreach events to various sectors to provide a better understanding of the strengths of the U.S beef production system and to respond to questions.
