Oct. 15 - Preparing to study abroad may seem daunting, so our Fall issue of "American View" takes aim at alleviating those fears. In "My Journey to Find Myself," Ayumi Ode recounts her path from high school in Japan to a community college in California, to one of the most prestigious universities in the United States. Our readers "interviewed" Japanese university and graduate school students and also Japanese high school students who have studied abroad in the U.S. by submitting questions via this website. Special thanks for work on the issue go to our summer intern Christin Ho, who also shared her experiences as an American student studying abroad in Japan.
