Oct. 21 - On Oct. 19 in Washington in a YouTube message, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton encouraged lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) youth as part of the It Gets Better Project launched by gay columnist Dan Savage in response to a recent spike in suicide among LGBT youth. Secretary Clinton asks "all the young people out there who are being bullied, or who feel alone and find it hard to imagine a better future" to "take heart, and have hope, and please remember that your life is valuable, and that you are not alone."
