Ambassador Addresses Symposium on Entrepreneurship

Nov. 3 - Ambassador John Roos gave the keynote address at the Nov. 1 Symposium on Entrepreneurship in Japan, emphasizing how entrepreneurism is important for maintaining a healthy economy. Noting that business entrepreneurs should be celebrated, he recognized the work of Satoru "Tehu" Cho, a young entrepreneur from Kobe whom he invited to the event. The symposium, held at Hitotsubashi Memorial Auditorium in Tokyo, was organized by the Japan Academic Society for Ventures and Entrepreneurs (JASVE), Stanford University's Project on Japanese Entrepreneurship (STAJE), The University of Tokyo Division of University Corporate Relations, and Nikkei.
