Dec. 8 - Ambassador Roos continued his journeys across Japan by visiting Gunma Prefecture on December 6. The Ambassador met with high school and university students at Kyoai Gakuen and encouraged them to consider studying abroad in the United States. He also met with Gunma Prefecture Governor Osawa, toured a peace museum and an historic home used by American missionaries in the 19th century, and conducted an interview with the local newspaper.
