Ambassador Meets Chief Cabinet Secretary

Ambassador John Roos paid a courtesy call on Chief Cabinet Secretary Edano at the Kantei today. The Ambassador congratulated the Chief Cabinet Secretary on his new position and said he looked forward to the continuing cooperation between the United States and Japan on a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global issues. The Ambassador also reaffirmed the vital importance of the U.S.-Japan alliance.
