Ambassador Roos Highlights Importance of Entrepreneurship, Study Abroad

Oct 24 - U.S. Ambassador John Roos delivered the keynote address and engaged in a Q&A session with participants at a conference in Tokyo entitled "Moving Forward: Japan in the World Economy," presented by the Center on Japanese Economy and Business, Columbia Business School.

In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and the value of studying abroad, and reiterated the U.S. commitment to supporting Japan in its recovery and rebuilding efforts in the wake of the March 11 disasters. Professor Gerald Curtis of Columbia University served as the discussant.
