Calling All Japanese Students: Learn about Studying in the United States at “AMERICA EXPO 2014”

-- More than 60 U.S. colleges and universities will be coming to Akihabara on September 13 --

“AMERICA EXPO 2014,” an annual college fair for Japanese young people interested in studying in the United States, kicks off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 13 at the Akihabara UDX building in Tokyo. The event, which attracted more than 1,000 people in 2013, is free and open to the public.

Representatives from over 60 U.S. colleges, universities, and study-abroad organizations will be on hand to answer questions from participants and to provide seminars about studying in the United States. Now in its sixth year, AMERICA EXPO is one of many activities organized by the U.S. Embassy to encourage Japanese students to study in the United States.
